This is a tricky situation because I have my biological father that I do not have a good relationship with and my step-dad who I have a great relationship with. I was able to figure out the Walk down the aisle thing...having my step-dad walk me down, meeting my real dad and my mom at the end, and then they can hand me over to be married. I was worried this would cause an issue with my grandmother (who I am very close to, but she considers my real dad my Only Dad) and I didn't want her to be upset that he wasn't walking me down the aisle. But she liked that idea. Then I realized I have to dance with both of them! I was thinking that I need to dance with my real dad first then later on they could do the Mother/Son dance, then closer to the end I can dance with my step-dad. There isn't a single song I could think of that I would want to dance with my real dad with, most of them are very loving and sappy, and this is going to be the one part of the wedding that I won't be thrilled about. I know people will probably recommend to just cut it altogether, but I want to dance with my step-dad, and we have to have a Mother/Son dance so not dancing with my real dad just isn't an option. Any song suggestions or personal experienc suggestions to make this easier?
