:-/ Nothing like merengue or bachata on that post. Grrr!!!
@julies1949: Haha! Grrr! at the list not you or your suggestion! :)
ay mija te veo fea pa la foto! LOL. i can't find any merengues that are father/daughter or bachata for that matter.
recuerdate que muchas de esas cancionnes so de amor or de mujeres, o en bachatta son de amargura.
i'm looking to see if i could find you any.
Lo mejor que puedes hacer es elegir una cancion y que la baile the whole wedding party ay tu con tu papa para que no se oiga muy raro, cause its true they're too lovey dovey. My SIL chose "para siempre" de Eddy herrera to do it with the wedding party.
Try Amigo by Fernando Villalona, its a song for his father so it should work. I'm looking for a merengue song for my father daughter dance too but this one doesn't work for me b/c the lyrics don't apply to our relationship. I think I'm gonna have to settle for viejo mi querido veijo by fernando villalona. Let me know if you find anything.

I am having so much trouble finding a father daughter song. It could be bachata or merengue because my father is extremely awkward to slow dance with so I would love to jazz things up this way. Please let me know of any songs that would suit the ocassion. All the songs i have come across are too lovey dovey for a father daughter dance.
