I am dancing with my dad to "Til there was you" by The beatles but you should just google father daughter dance songs! And even "unique father daughter dance songs" Good luck!

I danced to Forever Young by Bob Dylan.  It took me forever to find something that was completely sappy or country.... I agree with clarebee, Google "unique father daughter songs", you will come up with tons of stuff.  When my husband and I were looking at songs we had Google in one window and YouTube in another so we could hear the song right away.

We did our father/daughter mother/son dance at the same time and danced to "What a wonderful world"  by Louis Armstrong.

Well, maybe you can at least narrow it down to what you don't like first.

As for suggestions, I've heard 'Butterfly Kisses', 'Cinderella', and 'I loved her first', and 'What a Wonderful World' as traditional songs, if you prefer to go traditional that is.

I personally chose 'Nobody Else But You' from A Goofy Movie as my father/daughter song. I chose it because my father and I are extremely different and the song really highlights that. Also, it's one of my absolute favorite movies. Maybe look through some favorite CDs and see if a song sticks out to you that didn't before.

Well I let my dad pick the song because he is really big on country music - As of now he is going with My Little Girl by Tim McGraw

I am pretty sure we are going to dance to Loudon Wainwright III's song, "Daughter".

Look it up on Youtube.  So sweet.

I think we are going to do In My Life by the Beatles or Gracie by Ben Folds.

I think we're doing a combo father/daugher and mother/son and we're doing Stevie Wonder "Sunshine of my life"

I choreograph wedding first dances and give dance lessons, I have a lot of brides who come in and do "I loved her first" -- words are sweet if you're into country

I'm planning to use James Taylor's "You've Got a Friend." I haaated when he would make us listen to James Taylor growing up and have since learned to enjoy him, so I'm going to surprise my dad with it.

If you want something a little more indie/different, I like the Joshua Radin version of "Only You"

FI won "In My Life" Beatles, so we are doing "Little Miss Magic" Jimmy Buffet.  Yes, we bet on a sports event since we both wanted the same song, but individual dances.  That is how we roll.

My current choice is Daddy's Angel...here's some lyrics

Words and Music: Anthony W. Carter

    I'm giving you away
    But I'm not letting go
The memories, they flood my mind
Of the little girl I know

    Once upon a time
You held my hand so tight
You'd close your eyes and say a prayer
Then I'd kiss your head goodnight

As we dance I keep our love deep within my heart
And thank God for giving me this angel in my arms…

Unforgettable--Natlaie Cole and Nat King Cole duet--it is a little long though, in hindsight we would have done both parent dances during it!

We're leaning towards "Isn't she lovely" by Stevie Wonder but "What a wonderful world" is in the running too.

My dad actually chose ours- Daddys girl by Red Sovine.  My dad is a big redneck man, LOL.  We'll probably two-step or something similar.

While searching websites for the father/daughter songs I came across  Kenny Chesney "There goes my life". I've always liked this song but never thought of using it for this dance. For now it's my number 1 choice :)

My older sister was trying to get me to dance to I loved her first... but butterfly kisses won!

I was downloading some songs for my son and came across the song Whisper Me Luck by Paul Westerberg. He does a lot of the songs for the kids movie Open Season.

If we don't do a combo mother/son father/daughter dance it will most definitely be "Daddy" by Beyonce. Listen here.

My dad picked the song -- and when he sent me the link (lyrics are there, too), I totally cried my eyes out at work. There's a French and English version. We're doing the English, so people can hear the words. It's long, and neither of us like to dance or be the center of attention, so we're probably just doing the first half. I'm going to cry my eyes out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaPaCiFvxTQ

We didn't dance at our wedding, but if we had it would definitely have been Cinderella by Steven Chapman. Very beautiful Father Daughter song.

We're using "that's how strong my love is" by Otis Redding.  Not a typical father-daughter song, but I feel like I keep hearing the same father-daughter songs over and over at weddings, so I wanted to do something different.

I suggest "Sunrise Sunset" from Fiddler on the Roof.  I'm Catholic, not Jewish, but it's a real cool one.  At the same time we're dancing, my FH will dance with his mother.  That's what I suggested to the DJ, we just have to finalize it.  Go to youtube, I'm sure you can find the wedding clip/sunrise sunset from Fiddler on the Roof.  It's awesome.

Plus Fiddler on the Roof is one of my parents' favorite movies (it was made in the seventies when I was born -- they used one of the songs in the movie for my baptism.) I can't wait! :)

oooo...butterfly kisses is another one, like someone above suggested.  I'm still going to do Fiddler, but it depends on your style. If you're "daddy's little princess," then butterfly kisses might be more appropriate. :)

We havent decided whether we are for sure having a parent dance (but if we do, definitely doing father/daughter & Mother/son at the same time). If we do one, I think we'll be using Fleetwood Mac's Landslide.
