@Sboisse: This is a blog post by a pastor who did both: http://www.simplechurch.com/profiles/blogs/triangle-a-homily-for-my-daughter-s-wedding You could always email him.
I have seen some weddings where two pastors share the duties. So you could have someone else lead the start of the ceremony before your father takes over.
Or talk to you father, he might have some ideas. Oh and congratulations and welcome to Wedding Bee!

Walking down the aisle with one’s father is usually the special moment between bride & dad, but it sounds like you have an equally special opportunity to have your father marry you. What about your mom, sibling, or important friend walking you down, or walking down alone? Or, what I’ve seen other pastors’ children do is have the dad split the service with another pastor/lay leader, such that your dad walks you down and takes over the ceremony bit when it’s time to deliver an important prayer or say your vows.

Can he walk you down the aisle, then place your hand in your fiance’s before he takes his position as the officiant? That’s him symbolically giving you away without having to bring in another officiant.

I was thinking about this same thing. I would love for my father to do both as well.
