We are doing el vals.. instead of having a father and daughter dance. I'm dancing that to my dad, grandfather and my brothers and finally to my uncle....is a long song but its a tradition, well at least were I'm from.
I agree with you, it is a song about how the father has noticed that his little girl is now a woman, I think it is fitting. My MOH used that for her dance and although many use it for 15neras, it is still very touching.
THe valz that I am using and found was probably the best for Father/Daughter is this one by Alejandro Jaen called "Valz para una Novia". It's perfect!

I could really use help. I originally picked "De Nina a Mujer" by Julio Iglesias for my father/daughter dance. I thought it was fitting because it was sweet and because Julio is my dad's favorite. Every weekend when I was growing up my dad would put on his albums and we would clean and dance around the house to it.
My MOH thinks its not a good song for a father/daughter dance and says its not about a father/daughter relationship. I'm pretty sure it is though. What do you all think of it?
