I want a unique song...and I've never heard this played as a father/daughter song. Its the acoustic version. I also want a song that tells all that my father has done for me...rather than explaining the father's perspective (raising a daughter and letting her go).

I was thinking it might be nice to have someone play this on the guitar and sing it...what do you think? Below is the link. Thanks!!

I'm not sure.... I like the idea you have going because it is nice it would be from you to him vs. him to you, and I like the chorus. If you listen to the versus though it is definitely a romantic vs. family love though. In my honest opinion, if you LOVE the song and want it-- go for it. But if you are just looking for something from you to him... I'd keep looking.

Wow this sounds nniccee! I could so see a father/daughter dance to this. But Corgi mentioned romantic lyrics? I have a hard time hearing words to songs lolol I just hear the chorus. So.. it sound awesome to me! But I do like your idea about telling what all he's done for you. Hell.. if you really like it, go for it! I don't think people will listen to the words like that.. I know I don't lolol

I think parts of that song are great for a father daughter dance, but I do have to agree that other parts do sound more like they are romantic, not for your father. Will people pay that much attention? Who knows. I probably wouldn't do it myself because I overthink things. But....if it means something to you and you feel its the one than I say go for it.
