Oooh! I have been doing a TON of searching for songs lately!
Our top three choices were:
1. The Twelfth of Never by Johnny Mathis (we picked this one)
2. Walk With Me by Edwin McCain (I LOVE THIS but Dad thought he would cry too much :) )
3. Wonderful Tonight - Eric Claption version

I searched forever to find a song to dance with my Dad to, but everything seemed so predictable and overplayed. I stumbled upon this song on YouTube, bawled my eyes out, and knew this was it. It's called 'I Loved Her First' by Heartland. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ab4VRWX8y1A

We danced to Tangled Up Puppet by Harry Chapin. My mom used to sing it to me when I was little, so it has special meaning to all of us.
I don't speak to my father, but if I did I would use "Have I told you lately that I love you?" I think it's a really good father/daughter song

Hey everyone, I've had a really hard time picking a father/daughter dance song that wasn't overdone. I think I finally found one that's pretty unique and I've never heard played at a wedding before, so I just wanted to share! :) It's by Nickel Creek and is called When you Come Back Down.
