@littlecat:

I just decided on my girl too! but didn’t tell my dad yet.  Mom thinks its perfect for us (and reminds us of “father of the bride” movie.

I know im gonna cry!

@littlecat:They don’t dance to it, but they play it when they are playing basketball.

I haven’t watched that movie in YEARS…i need to rewatch now that I’m happily planning my wedding (YAY!)

well, i won’t have a father/daughter dance, but if i had one i would choose “i loved her first”  by heartland.  it makes me cry!

@rlsh86: I love that song, but I would not be able to use it, because I would cry off all of my makeup.  We are using Tangled Up Puppet by Harry Chapin.

@rlsh86: My sister danced with my dad to that at her wedding and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place! They also did a 2nd dance later in the evening to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw. Big country fans!

My dad and I are currently trying to decide between “Daddy’s Little Angel” by T. Carter and “Walk With You” by Edwin McCain. I love both for different reasons. May have to follow in the tradition and do two dances with daddy 🙂

We are going with “You are the Sunshine of My Life” by Stevie Wonder. All of the other songs that were slower and more “sentimental” my dad nixed because he didn’t want to cry. He is a big mush

to all who replied back to me:

yes, if i were to actually use it (too bad i’m not having a dance, i really wanted that, but it didn’t work out) i would be crying too! i’d ruin my makeup!  lol
