Do one per couple/family because not everyone takes the favors and if you make one per person you will have a ton left over.
I've heard some complaints when people give out things like one teabag per family/couple. Kinda hard to split, ya know? But for something like olive oil, I thin you're definitely good to not do one per person. Especially since, as AmyM83 said, not everyone will take one. Sounds like a great plan!

I am planning on having herbed olive oil given as favors, however, what is the etiquette when it comes to wedding favors? One per couple/family? One per person? I'm thinking since its dipping olive oil (that will last for a long time) we will give one per couple/family otherwise thats alot of olive oil. What do ya'll think, is it rude to only give one per couple/family?
