I voted for bags, because as a guest, I think it would be easier to stick in my purse or coat pocket at the end of the night.  eBay has clear cello treat bags in various sizes and in bulk for very cheap (starting at 99 cents or less even!)

Michaels, or AC Moore sells those favor boxes. If you take coupons you will get a great deal. You might be able to find those bags in the supermarket but I’m pretty sure you will have better luck at a craft store in their cake baking section

I voted for boxes because the pies are more likely to stay in shape in a box than a bag. They can get crushed easier in a bag

I like the boxes better but they might be a bit hard to find, and once you do find them, they could be  a bit pricey. I say go with the bags. Try Michaels’ baking aisle, I’ve seen little celophane bags for $5-$10 depending on the size and how many you need. And with a 40% off coupon you save more.

I vote the bags, not only will they be cheaper, but they are going to be much easier to find!

I voted for the bags, although the boxes are cute too! Like PP said, I think it’ll be easier to find the bags at a cheaper rate than the boxes. Also, I agree that they’ll be easier to take home at the end of the night.

i vote for the bags! definitely frees up the amount of space you’ll have in terms of placement for the favors, and they make the favor more appetizing. a favor in a box doesn’t make someone want to eat the treat right away (mostly because everyone knows boxes aren’t cheap), but bags make it easier to indulge on the spot. let me know if you need help getting the bags — i have a great shop near me that sells them in packs of 50 for only $6! =)
