    Hi all :)

Even though my baby girl has LOTS of clothes from the baby shower they are mostly summer items and we don't have a lot past 0-3/3 months. She will be 2 months on Sunday and is just starting to grow out of newborns and into 0-3. I am itching to buy some new things for her but want some ideas of where to find cute, nice baby clothes? I know some of the basics but was wondering what stores/websites you all use?

    Thanks!

I'm not sure we'll ever have to buy clothes, we made out well for all sizes up to 12 months at our shower! But if I do, I'm planning on going to a consignment store we have here. They're picky about what they take, so they're really nice clothes.

I'm a nanny for two little girls - 5 mo and 3 years - and their mom gets the cutest stuff at target! I'm also personally a huge fan of baby gap (on sale..), old navy, and crazy 8 (I don't know where they have stores, though). And believe it or not, wal-mart has adorable, cheap clothes! do you have a carter's outlet nearby?

I love the baby selection at TJ Maxx. Their clothes are absolutely adorable and you can't beat the price.

I seriously haven't bought more than one or two outfits for my daughter but most of her cutest stuff has been the Carter's brand sold at JCPenny and Target. Several people got her stuff from Ross and TJ Maxx that was name brand but cheap..

I guess it depends on how much you want to spend. We love Tea, Zutano and Hanna Anderson, but I only buy them from consignment shops.. new they are pricey.

Well I LOVE the baby gap clothes, but they're SO expensive. I would try thrift stores. Babies grow so fast that the clothes would still be in excellent condition, plus you don't really have to worry about anything being "in fashion".

My sister shops for all her kids clothes on ebay. She also sells them back again once they outgrow them. This takes up space though, they have their basement bedroom FULL of boxes of clothes.

I buy my nieces and nephew really cute stuff from Target and from Kohl's they have really great things on sale, and their clearance sections are usually great for buying ahead, since they are usually filled with stuff that is out of season.

I also plan to shop at a couple local consignment stores in nicer parts of town near me. If you want to look for deals on nice stuff, also maybe check out zulily or gilte children?

I like Carter's. They are cute and they have an outlet store near me, so they are even cheaper!

Definitely sign up for Zulily!  Also, sign up for Amazon Mom and check out their site frequently for deals.  I got two pairs of Zutano pants there for my 6 month old for $7 each (regularly about $15-$17 each) plus free shipping.  Diapers.com also has pretty good deals every now and then and free shipping if you spend $49 or more.  Janie & Jack and Hanna Andersson have a lot of cute and comfy stuff though it is a little more expensive.

I buy most of Addie's clothes at www.thredup.com.  You really can't beat $10 for a box full of clothes!

I love Baby Gap and Janie and Jack clothes, but they're super expensive, so my mom buys them for me.  :)  But some of Addie's cutest outfits have come from those stores.

Carter's and Osh Kosh have a ton of cute things, as well as Baby Gap. If you have outlets near you check them out. We are lucky that we have a Carter's, Osh Kosh, Gap, Children's Place, and Gymboree outlets near me and boy do they have some crazy sales!!! The other week Carter's had most of the store 70% off and Gymboree had everything $10.99 and under and the best part is everything that's in the outlet is the same stuff that's currently in the stores!

FYI: Carter's and Osh Kosh are owned by the same company. Also, Gymboree, Crazy 8, and Janie and Jack are owned by the same company. And Gap and Old Navy are together.

@Sulli301: laugh all you want, but the CUTEST clothes I've ever found, for cheap prices, were from Family Dollar.  It's probably a regional store, but they have really cute clothes for babies up to a year for under $10.  A lot of times, when they're on sale, it's only a couple bucks.

Trust me when I saw they're cuter than the Target clothes or anywhere else.  We would go SO many compliments about the outfits from parents/grandparents/etc asking where we found such an adorable outfit when my son and daughter were infants.  And when we told, they'd be wide-eyed and instantly say "where's the nearest store?" or "I've gotta go there!!!"

Why pay a fortune for something they're gonna outgrow between one and three months???

I like the Tea collection. We got some as handmedowns. And also Zulily has great deals on really cute stuff. I'm sure I will be getting more stuff from them in the future, as the budget or grandparents allow.

Wow thanks for the feedback! Lots & lots of fun choices :) :) Does anyone have experience with Koala Baby clothes from Babies R Us? I *believe* they are made by carters/a brand of carters and they are VERY cute but I wondered how they held up?

I get most my of my sons stuff from Walmart and Superstore. I know, I'm cheap, but he grows so quickly and only wears items for 2 months it seems, so I am very reluctant to spend any more on him. Unless I see something really cute from somewhere else, but that is very few and far between.

@Sulli301:  I have a couple of Koala Baby outfits I got from www.thredup.com.  I don't know how used they were when I got them, but they looked like they were in great condition, and they've held up fine, so far.  The good news with baby clothes is that babies will move through clothing so quickly and get so few wears out of each piece, you don't really have to worry about durability until they get around 1 year and a) their growth slows down and b) they start crawling/walking, instead of just laying around looking cute.  :)
