Boy
Girl
errm... i don't know, everyone always posts really good names on here though and although we're not TTC, i enjoy seeing what the other Bees come up with!
@elliestan: I've never heard of any of those names as names. Is bathtub pronounced like a bathtub?
If I have a girl, she will be named Olivia =)
if I have a boy, he will be named Ethan =)
@elliestan: Bahaha in this day and age someone is totally going to say, "Bathtub - I love it!!!!!!!!!"
lol
ETA: Oh crap, you *were* joking, right? I feel sort of awkward and uncertain right now....
@elliestan: lol Cornmeal.. pronounced "Con-Me-A"- the R and L are silent.
I have a pretty strong affinity for the following names:
Girls
Boys
Aside from Ariel, I'm pretty boring. But can you even imagine if we had a daughter named Ariel McBride? The Irish Catholic mermaid? LOL!
Curious to see what other Bees like!
@AnneTossy: XD those were joke names. I imagine Bathtub would be pronounced Bah-tht-üb ;]
@elliestan: I thought so, but you can never tell with people these days...I was trying to ask in a polite way - just in case :)
I love Samantha for a little girl, sadly DH is adamant that is not an option
I have a soft spot for Connor and Cooper because I babysit both as a teenager.
Girls names:
Gemma
Harlow
Willow
Autumn
Jillian
Georgia
Paige
Boy names:
Carson
Patrick
Cash
Hudson
Boston
Winter
For boys we like Nathan and Evan. DH's middle name is Evans, it's also his dad's middle name, and was his grandmother's maiden name. Not sure about middle names.
For girls we like Madeline (it was his grandaunt's name) and Eleanor (Ellie for short). Middle name for either would be Grace (his grandmother's name).
DH really loves Adam and Leah, but I'm lukewarm on both of them. When we first started TTC, Jackson was on our list, but I've cooled towards it over the past year, and it doesn't help that it's so popular. But it sounds great with our last name.
Girls: Ava, Avery, Sasha, Layla/Leila, Sophia
Boys: Max, Nathan, Henry, James, Pierce, Jackson
Dh and I can't agree on any boy names...he doesn't like any of the ones I like!
Nobody better steal Cornmeal, seriously you guys. DH and I have not agreed on ONE name so far.
We've agreed on Benjamin for a boy but neither of us like ANY girl names... I had this same problem when I was preggers with DS. sigh
Girls:
Kara (this is our #1 choice for a girl)
Kate
Jillian
Julia
Violet
Elsa
Adelaide (but my sister has "called" Addison so I think this one is out)
Boys: (we haven't picked a favorite - boy names are hard!)
Owen
Evan
Will
Ted/Theodore (admittedly, my husband is not into this one, but I like it!)
Heath (my husband's middle name and his grandmother's maiden name)
*also I wanted to mention that our VERY FAVORITE name of all time is Charlie (for girl or boy) but we used it on our dog three years ago! We are still tempted to change her name and use it for a baby. Does that make us bad doggie parents?
Girls: Allison, Abigail, he likes Maddie as a nickname but it's soooo popular.
Boys: Henry, Wyatt, Benjamin
We already have an Abigail and Jillian.
For girls:
Camryn, Brynn (my picks), Callie (DH pick), Charlye (both like)
For boys:
I love Max, DH does not. The only names we agree on are Myles and Charlie
@hilsy85: We're the same way with Boy names. He is set on Tyler and that is not happening.
i love the name eleanor for a girl. thats really the only one im stuck on right now
@mrskesslertobe: Would Charlye be pronounced like the traditional Charlie, or as Charl-eye or Car-lye
I love Danger!
I love L names, perhaps it's because my name begins with L, but I never liked my name growing up. I don't really have many boys names on the list--I guess I think more about girl names. Oops.
Girls:
Layla
Lela (pronounced lee-la)
Lola
Ella
Zoe
Georgia
Boys:
Miles
Max
Grand Winners:
Girl: Billie Evelyn Jazz (not our real last name :) I'm not a fan of Evelyn, but DH wants to honor his great-grandmother). Our daughter would have DH's initials
Boy: Louis "Louie" August Jazz (Our son will have my first and last initial. We wanted him to have my middle initial but couldn't think of a D name that we liked and I love the name August. It also has special meaning since our wedding anniversary is in August and we found out we were pregnant in August.)
don't worry cornmeal is all yours! I'm thinking bathtub! Lol ...seriously! Boy names: Matthew Nathan Ethan Mason Brayden Landon Aiden Girls: Ella Alissa Taylor Hailey Kayla kaitlyn
We are having a hard time with this already!
Girls - we may have an agreement on Nora. Also in the running is Josephine (Josie), Sonya, and Phoebe
Boys - considering John (after DH's deceased father), Brad(ley), Tyler, and Brett
@MrsJazz - LOVE Billie : )
@kc3636: i KNOW you didn't just give away Cornmeal! ::rolls up sleeves::
@KatyElle: It would be Charlie, but I think that is too masculine, Dh will probobly tell me to get over it though and go with the regular spelling.
I like unusualy names when I first hear them, but then I think about being in a store and calling out, "Echo, don't touch that. Come here." and the looks I'd get, lol, and I rethink my love of weird names.
Boys
Benjamin (but then I hate Benji and Benny, though I like Ben)
Leo
Eli
Levi
Seth
Girls
Livy (Olivia)
Eve
Elizabeth
Ember (though that would be one she'd spell every day of her life)
I feel like I can share our names here since no one knows who I am! Lol only 2 people in our family know a few of our names.
Boy:
Patrick (my DH's name)
Benjamin (more my pick than his)
Maxwell
Girl:
Annabelle
Eveline (may be a middle name)
We don't have many, but we love the ones we have!
I really like Titus...do y'all think that would get made fun of by immature little kids? I think it's a cute name.
@mrskesslertobe: Charlie is such a cute girl's name. I wanted to name our baby Bobbi if she's a girl, but DH said no of course. Ugh!
@mrskessler - my niece is named Charlotte, but we all call her Charlie...such a cute girls' name!
I am scared to share my names. :/ I dont want them to get super popular. *Irrational fear alert.
Girls:
- Willow
- Grace
- Brynn
- Laila
- Everly
Boys:
- Charlie
- Ryland
- Finley
- Carter
My absolute favorite girl name is Kari, pronouned kah-ree, not like Carrie. FI is iffy about it, but hopefully by the time we're ready for kids I can convince him. ;) I also love Elizabeth, Natalie, Catharine, and quite a few others.
Boys names, I like Matthew, Micah, Ian, and Steven. FI is completely in love with the name Cole but I really don't like it... no offense to anyone who does but I'm putting my foot down on that one, so we can't talk about boy names or he gets all mad that he can't have Cole, haha.
@panterapeach: I worry about that too. I have an Abigail and that was not a popluar name 10 years a go when I picked it and then all of a sudden it boomed. I am hoping that won't happen again:)
ETA: I have a whole list of names that I love, but are too poplar:(
@panterapeach: I didn't share my absolute favorite girl name...I'm scared too! :)
well here's hoping these don't go and get all popular on me...i haven't seen them listed so far and i'm not even pg yet but this is what we have already picked out.

Others I just like:

@hisgoosiegirl: Love that these are some of your favorite cow names you've used! My mom was the 7th child in her family (and 5th girl) so I guess my grandparents had run out of names by then, so she was named after a cow my grandpa had named when he was little - Marcella. I have always loved that story. :)
