Add polka dots and pin stripes to the cloth diapering sites and http://www.thebabywearer.com/ for baby wearing!
I think the one website to stay clear of would be whattoexpect.com. I was part of it, but not anymore. It's retarded that they will not let you have pix or anything that is related to babies that women have miscarried, or babies that have somehow passed away. That's not ok to me!
They have a great interactive calendar for ovulation tracking, etc.
Is it bad that I haven't found a website I liked? Whattoexpect was ok for little tidbits of info, but their forums are blah. Cafemom.com was just...immature. Ick.
I never did find a forum that suited me (so thank heavens for the WB babies thread!). The closest I came was a local forum at DC Urban Moms. Their parenthood forums can get mean and judge-y, but the pregnancy section is reasonably supportive and helpful. There's lots of general info, even if you don't live in DC: http://shorl.com/sebraladumafry
"Mommy blogs" take a lot of scorn, but reading them has been a lifesaver for me in terms of feeling like I'm part of a wider community sharing similar experiences. Here's a list of some of my favorites (warning, the bloggers I enjoy tend toward the more foul-mouthed and sarcastic): http://www.twowishes.com/blog/favorite-mother-blogs.html
Since that post, I've also discovered Ask Moxie. The archives are a goldmine of advice: http://www.askmoxie.org/

I've been doing a lot of online research over the past 9 moz and am sure you have too. I thought it would be a great idea to compile a list of the most helpful websites.
