Another tip to help with static as well is  … Rinsing your brushes & combs With Fabric Softener and Water… as well as adding a couple of drops to your water bottle … as a hairdresser this one of my little secrets that people are always like wow… my hair has been so staticy lately what did you do LOL.

I use baby oil and a cotton pad to remove all of my eye makeup with ease

I skip the expensive exfoliators and use baking soda added to some of my favorite face wash …. or I will make a scrub out of sugar and a little body wash to exfoliate my body

Honey is my secret. It has antiseptic and antibacterial properties, which help in fighting any bacteria (like, say, acne) on your skin.

I do a honey mask a few times a week. I clean my face (remove all makeup), then apply a thin layer of honey all over my face and let it sit for about half an hour, then rinse with warm water and follow with my regular nighttime regimen.

My skin is super soft and clearer after the masks – my grandmother told me about them, and her skin is great at 85!

@Rosie Girl – good idea about the face powder – I always use baby powder and it makes me look like I have grey hair!

I don’t have any beauty secrets, but I love reading about them! I want to try the honey mask.

st. ives apricot scrub, i like the honey idea, im going to give that a whirl.  I went to school for skincare and makeup and with all the expensive products out there i find that st. ives apricot scrub is my fave (the medicated one) 2x per week

I don’t put ANY products in my hair.  People are always giving me compliments on how healthy and shiny my hair looks and what do I do to get it that way.  Wash, condition, air dry ;o)

During the week I let my hair air dry & throw my hair up. I have brownish colored hair that I color blonde, and for the ladies who do this & don’t have perfect hair, it works perfect. I only blow dry and straighten my hair on the weekends because it’s SO damaging. I use Redken & Biosilk every morning in my hair when it’s wet, and right before I do straighten it…I put Alfapark silkening mist in my hair. It’s AMAZING.

& another thing I do when my face isn’t AS clear, instead of putting acne cream or something on my face, I’ll put neosporin. But I only do this when pimples have turned into sores. & another good thing for your face is putting a good anti-wrinkle lotion on your face before bed.

Queen Helene face mask! It honestly looks sketchy when it’s sitting on the shelf next to all of the other products with their beautiful packaging, but it works wonders on my skin! When I use it, my skin is clear, even in color and my pores are smaller! And it only costs 3-4 dollars! Score!

i use cornstarch in my hair to get another day out of it. And purple shampoo to keep my blonde from turning brassy. I always use moisturizer and good lotions on my skin. I exfoliate regularly. I always get compliments on skin looking supple and healthy. I just take care o fit

In the summer, before getting out of the shower, I rinse my hair in cool water to make it shinier. In the winter, it’s too cold to do that. Laughing

I think I’d die without Blistex lip medix.  I use it everday instead of lip gloss or lipstick because it makes your lips look like you’re wearing gloss.  And it keeps my lips from being dry and flaky.  Plus it’s only about a dollar or maybe a little more.

OH speaking of chapstick – it’s my lifeline! I use the Softlips brand with the lip tint in it…WAY better than lipgloss and it makes my lips look fabulous!
