Soooo many. Huge bookworm!

The Help, The Hunger Games triology, The Mortal Instruments triology, We Need to Talk About Kevin, Water for Elephants, The Book of Negoes, && Sleepwalking in daylight. The Bride Quartet by Nora Roberts was a guilty pleasure.

I got into reading Jodi Picoult books last year and they are ALL amazing.  A couple of the best are The Pact, Nineteen Minutes, and Plain Truth.  basically any book she writes is hard to put down. although after reading so many, they get a little predictable.

and if you are twilight fan and therefore Stephenie Meyer….you MUST read her “adult” book, The Host. i just did not want it to end, but sadly it did.

@MacFaniam24: Pretty much; The Hunger Game is the official title. Then Catching Fire & Mockingjay rounds out the series.

The Hunger Games were my books of the year!  I heard about them last year, but never got around to reading them until thebeginning of this year.  The first book is The Hunger Games, the second is Catching Fire, and the third is MockingJay.  My favorite out of the 3 is definitely The Hunger Games.

@dynamic_duo: I LOVED The Host. SO much better than those damn twilight books. I’m adding it to my recommendations.
And I have a shelf dedicated solely to Jodi Picoult & Jennifer Weiner. I think I have all of JW’s books, actually.

Cold Mountain, Gap Creek, The Guernsey Literary and Potatoe Peel Society, any Maeve Binchy or Amy Tan book (my guilty pleasures), Loving Frank (true story based on Frank Lloyd Wright’s affair, incredible incredible read if you’re into architecture at all), Poisonwood Bible, Shanghai Girls, Still Alice (really informative and heartbreaking if you know anyone with Alzheimers and are looking for insight)…. I have a huge stack of books at the side of my bed. Seriously, like 10 high.

@bebefly: I loaned it to my mom to read (her mom/my grandmother has Alzheimers so I thought it would be a really great read for her too), who then gave it to another friend in Florida! Guess I’ll never see that one again 😉 I learned SO much from that book though. I’ll have to find it at the library and give it another read!

One of my favorite books is East of Eden. Right now I’m reading the Grapes of Wrath, so good!

One Hundred Years Of Solitude –though I haven’t had as much time this year to read as much as I normally do.

I loved Water for Elephants! Did you know they are turning it into a movie and Robert Pattison is going to be the lead? Don’t know how I feel about that…… I sooooo want to read the Hunger Games series and the rest of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series. Hmmmmm maybe santa will leave some of those under the treee lol 😉
