Sometimes it's nice to reminisce on those carefree childhood days filled with treats & goodies (when we didn't worry about counting calories) and Saturday mornings laying on the couch watching cartoons (while someone ELSE did the laundry). Soooo... here's a toast to the good ol' days.
What was your favorite cartoon? (Feel free to name more than one)
Mine was She-Ra - totally cheesy, yes, I know, but I LOVED it. I loved pretending I was her LOL.
My other favorite was Muppet Babies. I loved it when they would open a closet door or something, and there was a "real" (not animated) monster or scene in there. I thought that was the greatest.
Yes. I was definately an 80's child ;)
@ danadelphia - oh yes! Scooby Doo was one of the greatest.. There are so many I loved, it's hard to pick just a few.
ohhh I loved the muppet babies too!!
I also really was into Ducktales (woo-hoo!), Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers, Tiny Toons & The Raccoons!!

@ Emshaw - Oh this thread is already bringing back memories!!! I loved Ducktales (woo-hoo!) AND C&DRR (ch ch ch chip & dale! rescue rangers!)
Now I feel like a complete dork.
I had far too many, but I was guilty of singing along to Gem and the Holograms with my sister...
ETA: Does anyone remember Noozles? With Sandy and her "stuffed" koala bears Blinky & Pinky?
@okqueenbee: I know!! I have both theme songs stuck in my head now... ch-ch-ch-chip and dale when there's danger!
By far!!! Rainbow Brite. My FH got me the DVD's because he saw me watching all of them a few months before on you tube. He is so sweet!
@ Ms. Caniche - OK. Since you spilled that piece of info I feel lots better about admitting that I would still LOVE to sit down and watch all the She-Ra cartoons again :P
I love how everyone is adding pics to this post! It's so fun :)
@ HoneyBear - I loved them too. My favorite was Grumpy bear. I've been moody my whole life lol.
@ VioletVeil - I vaguely remember the Noozles, but just cause you mentioned the stuffed Koala bears lol :)
@ okqueenbee- I don't know what brought that show back to my mind, and now the theme music is in my head!
I also loved David the Gnome. I tried watching some episodes recently. I still love it, but it's a little trippy sometimes...
I wasn't allowed to watch cartoons as a child...so naturally I loved them ALL! :P I loved Rugrats, the Jetsons, and Sailor Moon.
Oh mah gah, how I loved Sailor Moon...

@violetveil: David the Gnome was my favorite!!! My co-workers didn't believe that was a real show!! I had to show them old Youtube clips to get them to believe. It's definitely weird looking back now, but I loved Swift the fox!
OMG. Count Duckula!!!! Reppin' the UK Cartoon love! If you grew up in the States- you may have seen this on PBS occasionally. If you want to listen to the THEME SONG, click that link!
