If I were having an October/November wedding I'd do pumpkins or other gourds!
I also love succulents as cp's.
Birdcages are really fun too, but I can totally see how they'd be very pricey.
I love succulents and terrariums (or succulents IN terrariums)... which is what I am doing!
I love the sound of those! Do you have inspiration or trial pictures?
Thanks lilyfaith!
I started off with this as my inspiration but I'm going to tweak it so it works in a apocarthy jar with some succulents. I'll post some pics once I try it out!

That's pretty, I can't wait to see how your finished ones come out!
A few more I like:

I was flipping through the Knot magazine, and I saw a centerpiece idea with Moroccan lanterns. I love the soft glow the lanterns had :-). I found this image on StyleMePretty!
FEATHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These are my actual centerpieces and will be owned by my company next week!!!

I love candelabras! I'll bet they're pricey to rent, though . . .
@OctoberBride: ooh, pretty. I wonder if they'd be cheaper to buy at flea markets, on Craigslist, and Ebay?
@Cre - I'm obsessed with feathers. Just adore them.

I LOVE these branches...I'm thinking of doing them with some flowers added in, just a couple calla lilies and spider mums!
@lily: me too!! they'll be in my hair, on my tables, and making an appearance on my invites as well :D
@Rxbridetobe: I think I'm drooling on my keyboard!
Love seeing all these. You all are great inspiration. :)
I'm using this as my inspiriation! The idea of pinwheels got me all excited in a way flowers just weren't. I am changing it up a bit and keeping the pinwheels within our colorscheme (peach and raspberry) and putting them in mason jars :)

shushu1208- I L-O-V-E those little lanterns! They give such a beautiful feel to the pictures!
oops I forgot to add the ones I love!

This one I love because it uses the candles and flowers in a unique way. It spices things up a little bit! :D

And this one is perhaps my favorite!

as the picture shown by shushu1208 im using those exact maroccan lantern as my center pieces... but im planning to use only three 12 inches lantern with red candles inside for every rectangular table... i love how they look
@MissDW - the glasses with the flowers and candles are so simple and yet I've never seen them that artistic and creatively used! Thanks for sharing!
@Magenta - I hope you share pics after your wedding, I love the lantern look. Soft light is so romantic.
@ missdw LOVE the glasses with candles, I haven't seen anything like this before! Totally using it for my cake table!!
Thanks girls! I have tons of pictures but those are by far my favorites!
My waiting for the official proposal has led Mr.DW and I to gather TONS of picture ideas together. Now when the time comes to actually plan I am going to be overloaded with beautiful ideas!
Magenta- where are you getting your lanterns?! I just may have to steal that idea when the time comes :D
WOW, ladies! There are so many non-traditional ideas! My favorite are the branches and flowers, which is what I'm doing for my centerpiece. Check these out.....
@ MissDW: I know, I just love the atmosphere it gives. And I love the little picture centerpieces too!
@ Magenta: That's wonderful! Please share where you got them :-). I bet they'll look gorgeous!
All of these look amazing! Thanks for all these ideas!
Love the triangle candleholder with the pictures inside.Could someone please tell me if you made these or you can you buy them somewhere?
I liked this one on Style Me Pretty this morning - milk bottles and poppys. Super simple and different.

I was told that one of you on here may have a tutorial on how to make the picture centerpieces that is shown in the image by MissDW. Love those and would like them for our table.I hope someone here can help??? I could maybe google it but what are the name of them.
@Groomsmom2 -

Hope that helps!
I really like the fruit topiaries, Target had some for Valentine's Day that had red hearts on them that I loved, but I can't find a photo.

What are your favorite non-traditional centerpieces? I love these, but I do wish they were real fruit instead of fake:
Let's see some fun and creative ones, either from you or inspiration!
