I will keep looking for bees from the past that sort of fit what you are looking for but my favorite was Mrs. Sea Breeze, I just loved her recaps and her post!

My best advice would be just to start reading over all them. That is what I have been trying to do also!
I loved Mrs. Cherry Pie's wedding & recaps. =) Dunno if she has a bio, though.
well by "bio" I meant her posts on the Bee. Thanks! Keep 'em coming. I've been meaning to check out Mrs. Cherry Pie since I've heard so many raves about it.. I think I shall start with that!
I'd say read Mrs. Love Bug. She was before my time here on wedding bee, and I would always see people reference her. I finally went back and read her post and now I totally get it. Definately read Love Bug.
I love Mrs. Lady bug, she is hilarious!! I also liked Mrs. Apple a great deal and Mrs. Snail had wonderful posts on makeup since she is a makeup artist.
Read all of them! They were all great for a variety of reasons. :)
Mrs. Cupcake has always been my favorite bee. Her wedding had so many wonderful details! I wish I had her work ethic, she did so many projects!
Before I was a bee... i would read about Mrs.Strawberry... check her out

So when I get frustrated that no new blog posts are posted every .2 seconds, I begin to randomly read all the past Bee bios. That is to say, Bees who wedded "before my time" on WeddingBee.
What are some of your favorites? I'm thinking I might just go ahead and read all their bios one by one.
Also -- off the top of your head, any that might have similar situations as me (I know some bees connect really well with certain brides). We're having a somewhat traditional wedding (ceremony at Church, reception a country club style resort). We are planning the wedding from across the country (any long distance Bees from the past?). Wedding is in September but we aren't going for an overly "autumn" wedding.
I'd love to hear about some of your favorite Bee inspirations!
