Jim Gaffigan! And Louis CK. Probably my top two these days. Youtube is filled with some good clips of both!
@mrscheetos: I find Ellen DeGeneres hysterical. I always watch her specials when they're on. I've seen Daniel Tosh live too. He's pretty funny as well. FI had a man crush on him for years and introduce me to him in 2009. Oh, and Louis C.K. Oh man, love that guy.
@littlemissmango: thanks, I've never seen either one of them so I'll def look them up!
@MissPumpkinPie: LOVE Ellen! and I too have a crush on Daniel Tosh
Louis CK, Pablo Francisco, old school Dave Chappelle, I adore Louie on FX, his plot lines are hysterical. I almost peed my pants during "Cop Movie"
"Ehhhh your father is dead" *shrug*
I prefer some of the older comics...
Robin Williams
George Carlin
Dana Carvey
Bill Engvall
I haven't watched stand up in years...maybe that is why...lol.
@mrsbruff2b: I actually just heard of Russell Peters today. I'll have to check him out.
@mrscheetos: Yes, Tosh is pretty awesome. Hahaha.
I just looked up some Louis CK clips since most of you mentioned him, he is too funny hahaha
Eddie Izzard! Specifically Dressed to Kill! Love Daniel Tosh as well :)
YES! Jim Gaffigan and Mitch Hedberg 100%
Nick Swanson's old stuff was funny, and Margaret Cho's gay bar routine is hilarious
@LGenz: yes! definitely second Mitch Hedberg, Pablo Francisco, Jim Gaffigan and Ellen!
Definitely George Carlin and Eddie Izzard. Craig Ferguson and Sebastian Maniscalco are pretty damn funny, too. Oh, and Alex Reymundo just cracks us up. We watch a ton of stand-up.
Patton Oswalt! And Dave Chappele, Kevin James (no, really) and Chris Rock
gabriel iglesias!!!!! he's hilarious!!!!!! I <3 fluffy!!!!
Ron White, Lewis Black, Lisa Lampanelli, DH has a man crush on Daniel Tosh, love some of his stuff, hate some of his stuff, just have to be in the mood to watch him.
my favorite though is Katt Williams. Seriously crack up whenever I watch him, he's just so silly!
Kat Williams cracks my shit up. I also like Ron White, Greg Giraldo (RIP), Lisa Lampanelli, and Jeff Dunham. I think Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel are funny sometimes. I LOVE Eddie Izzard's older stuff. He did this bit about Hilter in an older routine that was hilarious.
I also think Stephen Lynch is funny. I liked Dane Cook's stuff better before he got really famous.
I love the Comedy Central Roasts too. Flavor Flav and Pam Anderson were my favorites.
Mitch Hedberg, Stephen Lynch & Margaret Cho. John Leguizamo's Sexaholix is a good watch.
Robin Williams
Bob Saget
BIll Engvall
Mitch Hedberg
Gabriel Iglesias
Ellen
George Carlin
Dane Cook
Margaret Cho
@zippylef: how could I forget about Ron White!
@elliestan: Girl after my own heart :)
John Pinette, George Carlin, Russell Peters, Gabriel Iglesias, Jeff Dunham, & Tim Michin :)
I'm very lucky that one of DH's best friends is a professional stand-up comedian, so I get to hang out with him and other comedians when we visit them in Montreal. It's great to spend a weekend laughing!
We got to see (and meet) Debra DiGiovanni a couple weeks ago, oh my gosh is she ever hysterically funny!!!! Seriously, look her up. I'm going to go see her again when she's in Toronto and bring a few girlfriends. I laughed so hard my cheeks were hurting!
Mine are probably a little different, because they're all popular in the UK (even though Tim Minchin is Australian).
Ross Noble - my absolute favourite of all time.
Eddie Izzard
Russell Brand
Dylan Moran
Bill Bailey
Tim Minchin (only just discovered him)
@elliestan: How did I forget Margaret Cho?!
@AlmostMrsJames: DH LOVES Bill Bailey.
@zippylef: Totally love Eddie Izzard's older stuff! My favorites are about "well do you have a flag?..." and about hitler & WWII. SO FUNNY!
Wyatt Cenac. His stand up special on Comedy Central from a few months ago had me on the floor laughing, and I'm usually really picky about stand up.
@amnystik: love the do you have a flag from eddie izzard. I say it too much and most of the time get blank stares.
Also love louis ck, sarah silverman, and daniel tosh routines
@zippylef: He's brilliant. So, so, talented.
'No flag, no country you can't have one. They're the rules, that I just made up.'
Kevin Hart is sooo funny! We watched his last special on netflix every saturday for about a month. My husband now randomly says his lines daily..
We are going to see Bill Burr in December. He's growing on me..
