I loved Maine! Portland Maine was so beautiful (June through August!!).
I also love Singapore. Very clean city you could eat off the thoroughfares!!
Hawaii is of course an all time fave.
If you're looking for a mountain getaway without too much cost, Vail, Colorado is a great summer location!!
Morocco - Just a varied and diverse country with lots to see and do. Somewhat inexpensive.
France - No need for explanation. All it is amazing.
Barcelona, Spain - Very picturesque and has a lot for the older and younger traveler (history and bars on the same street)
Costa Rica - Relaxation and adventure can be squeezed in in a short period of time.
Roatan, Honduras - Amazing Caribbean feel, costs are lower than most island prices.
Zanzibar, Tanzania - Amazing location to center yourself for an East African escape.
Miami - My favorite party place! It may be cheesy but who cares :)
I love Switzerland. I went on the Tour du Mont Blanc (circuit trail around Mt. Blanc) and the Swiss section was my favorite part. I've also visited a few other times. I've uniformly found people there *incredibly*, almost uncomfortably, friendly. For example, I went to Geneva quite a long time ago (I was traveling alone). At the train station I asked a shopkeeper where to purchase tickets for the public transportation. She literally closed up her shop, walked me over the tram stop, helped my buy my ticket, and waited until the tram arrived! That's only one of many examples of super friendly Swiss people (I've mostly been in the French-speaking part, dunno if that's somehow different from the rest).
I also *love* travelling in Italy, especially the Veneto region.
Can't say enough about Chile as well!
Closer to home, I absolutely love Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. And in the US, can't beat some of the Western NP (Yosemite, the Olympics, Yellowstone).
i loved Paris - gorgeous buildings, great food, fantastic window shopping oh yeah.. and museums too. what else could a gal ask for?
san francisco's always relaxing and fun
hong kong - but that's like going home (my grandparents live there)
My favorite country is Ireland. Ahhh, I love Ireland. I've been there twice and am ready to go back. It is the most picturesque place. It is lush and green with beautiful rolling hills. If you like to party, stop by Dublin. If you like to relax, there are so many quaint bed and breakfast places. Lastly, the people there are the friendliest. Once, my friend and I got lost, and this nice Irish man not only gave us directions but walked us all the way were we needed to go. He was dressed in a business suit with his briefcase, so we knew he was heading to work, but he took his to be hospitable. This is only one example, there are numerous. The Irish are just friendly, jolly people (especially at the bars, hehehe.)

I just got back from a great vacation, which is really sparking the honeymoon interest. What are some of your favorite vacation spots? What did you like about them?
