Favorite Wedding Blogging and Website Options?

posted 8 months ago in Beehive

Now that my fiance and I have FINALLY chosen a wedding date and location (WOOHOO!!!!!) , I am thinking about starting my own personal wedding blog and wedding website so I can keep my long-distance friends and family up to date with our wedding plans.  (My ideal blogging site would allow my fiance and I to contribute separately to the same blog, but I don't think such a thing exists?)  I love Weddingbee and a lot of the other wedding sites but I would like to start the blog and website on more generic non-wedding-specific services so I can keep them going for other topics, too.

What are your favorite blogging and create-your-own website sites?  Thanks in advance for your insight and opinions!

blogger.com and google pages.

Blogger for the blog (obviously) and the very userfriendly google pages for your wedding website.

I believe with Wordpress you can have different users for a single blog.... so you could both blog under your separate names.

you can usually blog under the same account but as diff users for a number of different blogging platforms. just need to add/invite them to your blog. i know for sure you can do it on blogger b/c i've done it before. on the paid platforms, it might vary $$wise.

I use blogger, and my FI writes occasionally too under his own name. You just have to invite him as a guest blogger. We have a wedding website currently with wedquarters but we will be using smugmug as our main website after the wedding.
