Weddingbee boards

I poked through some old threads to see if anyone had asked this yet and I found a couple posts that didn't get a lot of comments. Hopefully, this one will get a little more responses because I'm really interested to hear from all of you. 

At a Pampered Chef bridal shower a couple of weeks ago, FMIL pulls out this little book and hands it to me. It wasn't wrapped or anything, but it's the best gift I've received yet and I doubt anything else we get will top it. What is it? It's a cookbook. To be specific, it's the family cookbook with all of Grandma Ruby and Grandma Vera June's old recipes. These two women are practically regarded as saintly in FI's family. I never got to meet Grandma Ruby, but for the short time I knew Grandma Vera June I would have to say that I would agree. Of course the rest of the family has added some of their own favorite recipes as well. It's just amazing. It's a piece of FI's family history, and it's the last unowned copy. As in, if anyone else wants one they will have to take someone else's. I just feel so honored and such a part of the family! Has anybody else received a gift that was really meaningful to you?
