Mrsjax213:  We did something simple (wedding is October 4)

Each guest will get a bag of sugar cookies with a pumpkin spice cream cheese frosting.  They’re also serving as our place cards with a ribbon and tag on them

Candy apples were my first thought for favours too when I started planing my wedding for this October! But I eventually nixed it (as cute as they are) because for sure all my older guests wouldn’t dare damage their dentures/teeth with one of those so it’d be a waste and they get kinda messy! That isn’t to say that if I attended a wedding I wouldn’t appreciate a candy apple as a favour though! You can’t always please everyone.

Mrsjax213:  I love the caramel apple thing. I would just make sure they are boxed or packaged in some way (maybe a clear plastic box), because as a guest, I’m not sure how I’d transport it anywhere (probably wouldn’t eat it at the wedding) if it wasn’t packaged up for me.

Mrsjax213:  cute idea. it probaly wouldn’t work post October though as I would always link them to Halloween, You could get them wrapped in nice clear cellophene with a lovely ribbong and label! we’re getting married this November and the theme is berries. I’m kinda in between Fall and Winter for themes. the pics are my inspiration. We are doing scented candles for the ladies all the berry colours and different scents, and for the guys a small cute pot of jam all the berrie flavours. Attached are are name tags we’ll be attaching. They are doubling up as place cards for the table and will add a nice bit of colour against the white tablecloth.

this never attached the first time, this is exactly how the flowers should look, well the colours anyway! which is what i’m basing my theme around.

I LOVE the idea!  Most chocolate shops make carmel apples in the fall and could make them in bulk with a bit of notice.  You can get cute little favor boxes for them at Joanns, or oriental trading company (really anywhere that sells stuff for weddings).
