@stephalina6: I wouldn't call it tacky, but if you want to do something different for children , you could also do a little treat bag like they would get at a birthday party.
Nope, I think it is fine to include their names on the same one as their parents. When I was a kid my cousin did something similar, and just put my parents, me and my little brother all in one frame. Especially if you are just seating them all at one table anyway.
When I was 5 I would have loved that as a doll chair! :-)
But, I would buy something different for the kids... I'm going to make an a little activity basket for each of our ring bearers and flower girls that has a swirly lollipop, some crayons, coloring books, stickers, glow in the dark bracelets, and maybe a little toy. I was able to find a lot of cute Disney and super hero things at the dollar store!
ps- I don't think it's tacky at all to add a child's name to the parents' escort card!
I was a photographer for a wedding a few weeks ago and they had cupcakes made for all the children, put them in clear boxes and at their seat on the plate. It was the cutest thing ever.
i have had my childrens favours for a while now stored away....i went to a small shop selling wooden items...i bought wooden puzzles for the small children, wooden cars for the boys and old fashioned wooden skipping ropes for the little girls....then had the man in the shop burn their names onto each of them. This way they will act as a place setting as well as a toy to keep them occupied. I have also made them each an activity book to put on the table with some crayons.
I think its completely fine to put children’s name with their parent in one frame.......when they are sitting together there is no need to have their name in different frame and place that frame on same table.......

These are the wedding favors that we're having for our beach wedding - they will also serve as table assignment numbers. We'll be printing out their name and table number and stick in the frame (exactly like the photo shows).
My question is do you think that I should buy one for the kids - anyone under the age of 5? If not, would it be tacky to add Mom or Dad's name and a "+ (child's name)" under the parent's name?
