Hey everyone, I'm having a few kids at the wedding and was looking for suggestions for favor suggestions for them. I'm guessing they don't want coasters, which is what I'm giving the adults.
Cookies or some kind of candy? I went to a wedding where they gave a glass of champagne to the adults and a cookie with the couple's picture on it to the kids. I thought it was quite nice!
I am thinking of giving the kids an activity bag/bucket when they first arrive. It will have "quiet" toys like bubbles, kaleidescope, color book, etc. This will keep them quiet at the table and not running around all over!
I also gave the few kids that came to our wedding a disposable camera- so they could take their own photos. Also little stuffed alligators (Florida wedding). I wanted to add in flash lights and other stuff- but I'm glad I didn't cause they just had a great time with the cameras and playing on their own.
For my friends wedding a few years back she put me in charge of the kids table - I printed wedding themed pages for the kids to color and a wedding themed maze (I just googled those and edited them on my computer). I also bought pipe cleaners and the kids had a blast making things out of pipe cleaners, like bracelets, crowns and even the boys like making swords.
I had a bag w/disney mini coloring book w/4 crayons, a lightup ring, a small stuffing animal keychain, a mini bag of fruit snacks, and a 100 calorie pack of Cheez Its.
I put together activity packs for the kids and am putting them on a table with a cupcake tower. I got most of the stuff from Oriental Trading and make our own coloring books. I also got glow bracelets, puzzle games and sticker sheets.
