Hey all! I was contemplating whether or not to do favors… We’re having a backyard, taco and mojito reception… Ok more like an enchanted garden with bistro lighting that just happens to be a back yard… That being said since it’s not a sit down formal dinner I was thinking of ditching favors altogether… HOWEVER I just thought of what if I bought the See’s Candies candy bars that are super delicious and everyone loves and did our own wrappers or a cute foil sticker or something to say “thanks for coming”… What do you think??

I think the bars sound like a great idea, everyone loves something edible, and sweet…I don’t think you can go wrong

I voted no favors, but ultimately I would say budget. If you can do it, then sure why not, if you can’t, then don’t. 🙂

I think the candies sound super cute! But if you’re looking for a way to cut costs, I don’t think favors are necessary 🙂

Yeah, I second the budget thought. Favors are really not important especially if you’re on a tight budget. Not sure if you are or not.. I found cheap favors myself otherwise I was gonna skip ’em!
I DO love Sees,6 especially the lollies!!

My rule on favors is going to be “only spend what wouldn’t hurt my feelings if half the guests just left them on the tables” 🙂 No matter how nice the favors are, it seems like that always happens!

Thanks all 🙂 the price is actually really good, so I just have to decide whether or not I want to bother… since we’re already having sweets that the candy bars could be over kill and extra work for me!
