We are doing traditional almonds and a donation.  I can’t think of anything all my guests would actually want.

@nurseheather – that’s a really cute idea!! we’re not sure if we’re doing favors, but if we do, i’d want it to be something cute that has a purpose, like yours.

I wanted all of my guests to blow bubbles as we leave our ceremony (great for pics) so my favors are little bottles of bubbles with personalized labels. I got the bubbles at the dollar store and made the labels myself to save $$$. I wasn’t going to do favors, but had these done anyways and decided to just make these my favors 🙂

we’re having a photobooth, so our favors are guests pictures from the photobooth!

I don’t know if favors are worth it. Most of the time they are cheap things that people either forget our end up in a box in their attick. Why spend so much money on that? On the other hand it might be cool to combine the favor with the place cards. So not sure yet.

We are doing edible favors and bubbles (but that mostly for our walk). I think they are worth it..but, than again there are a few things that get left behind if guests don’t like it or think it’s something they wouldn’t use.

I also really like the photobooth idea, but not sure if I’m going to jump on that bandwagon yet.

Just think pratical and something that you would carry home. A picture frame of the bride and groom? No, not really! Cookies or Candy? Yes and I might take extras lol.

We did jars of jam from a local farmers market for adults, activity books/crayon rolls for kids, and monogrammed bibs for the babies.  The jam ended up being a little over a $1 a jar, and the crayon rolls and monogrammed bibs were DIY.  I’m working on creating instructions on the activity books & crayon rolls for the DIY section and posting photos to my bio.  That said, favors were the least of our worries, then we happened across the jam and other ideas and just ran with them.  I don’t however think favors are a requirement by any means though!

We are definitly not having favors. at my FSIL’s wedding most of them were thrown in the trash and never opend. I’m not going to waste anywhere from $50-$300 on something people will leave behind. We’re on a tight budget and we can do something else with that money!

I don’t know about doing favors. I don’t really think they are worth it unless they are something that the guests are actually going to use. Most of the time, guests don’t use the favors and they are just left on the tables. Not sure yet if we are doing favors but if we do, we will probably do an edible favor since or maybe the photobooth thing since that’s also something fun for the guests to do.

if  i were not having a destination wedding, i might have done something home-made (as in, a jam of jam for everyone)…or just ditched it…. but i’m having a destination wedding, so instead, i chose my favorite love-related poems, and had someone (on Etsy, of course!) print them attractively on heavy card stock. one poem will be at each place setting… with a place card…. this also might be a good conversation-starter. i LOVE this idea. i’m very happy i’m doing it.

Either cookies or wine stoppers. I’m not sure yet.

I use the wine stopper favor I got whenever we have people over- its so cute! But cookies are my weakness. I just love to share sweets & bake for others. Its how I show my love… 🙂

We are either doing a candy bar with some sort of box/sack for take home candy or we will be getting a photo booth and the guests will have the pictures to take home. I also saw the cutest thing where there were cupcakes in jars sooo cute.
