Those are so super cute! What about just some sort of candy? Not sure how much they are but M&Ms make personalized ones - you can get your face or names or date or whatever - my best friend's MIL got her some for her shower that said their names on some and dates on the other! But I think the packaging is so cute you could even just do your favorite candy! Or if you went non-edible you could do small soaps - I just bought the stuff to make 8 large soaps for my shower hostesses for $40 and that included all sorts of scents - small soaps would be cheaper! Good luck!!!
Do you have any sort of theme to your wedding? I suggest just some kind of hard candy, or maybe home made maple fudge as you are having a fall wedding.
The advantage of hard candy is that you can do the favors ahead of time, and wrapped candy doesn't need any additional wrapping inside the tissue paper.
Fudge would need to be made just a couple of days ahead, wrapped in saran then in the tissue paper, so it does make this a last minute project.
You could get a maple candy(I'm saying maple because it is fall) that is pre wrapped.
Or you could do individually wrapped fortune cookies. There are many sources where you can make up your own fortunes and they will insert them into the cookies. The one I use locally lets you use 9 different fortunes which are randomly inserted.
It is important to make one of the tissue paper wraps to see how big the favor inside can be.

Hello bees,
I originally wasn't going to have favors, but I stumbled accross these on the Marth Stewart Weddings website and LOVE them. I just don't know what to put in them. They put a dahlia bulb in it. I could do some flower seads or a bulb, but I would prefer to do somethign edible... Any suggestions on something that is easy to DIY?
