I don't think you need a tag. Noone but those in the know will know anything is missing. However, if you do get bored, you can always do a mock-up and see if you like the look better.
As for the red ribbon, it could work, however, you also have the red chocolates inside...
Alternating red and black, perhaps? Food for thought.
They're cute. I wouldn't add anything to them. Black or red ribbon would be fine.
I don't think you need them. I made some b/c they were cute and cheap (DIY), but I would never want to spend money on them especially b/c they just get thrown away, and people don't really notice them. I think it's one of those details only brides notice.
a red ribbon would look absolutely great IMHO!! do you have red accents anywhere else in the reception? also, have you considered favor stickers instead of tags? seems like they would work better, just stick them to whatever side you want on the box! they are all over the place on etsy and really cheap and cute too.
I don't think you need anything else - and I actually would vote against red ribbon. I think it would take away from the simplicity of the bag!
