What about clear plastic bags with a cute label? Here are two that I found on Martha Stewart's website. Just picture it being soap instead of cookies.
What about being partially wrapped in paper and then tied with some raffia?

Maybe add a tag to the tie too. This would work great if you are using hand made soaps.
Mrs. Apple Cider packaged soaps in a really pretty/unique way.

What about tulle circles? or tulle wrap? That way the scent comes through and it looks decorative. And instead of ribbon what about raffia or twine with the paper?

Sorry, there are no users yet.
So in an effort to find a somewhat practical, yet cost-efficient favour (we're looking at 200+ guests), I settled on travel soaps, but I'm having a hard time deciding how to wrap them in a way with some presentation value.
I bought some solid coloured wrapping paper, but the idea of just wrapping them seems a bit drab. Any ideas? Since they're not very big, embellishments like ribbon are things I'd like to try to avoid.
I've been considering folding mini paper bags, but I'm kind of scared of the amount of effort that may be involved (I'm not really the DIY type), and I have yet to find a simple paper bag template. Any help?
