Some people probably think I am crazy but my wedding is actually going to be a two day event. We have rented the camp grounds of the summer camp I have been going to for 9 years. We also have to rent a water taxi to get there.
What is one to do for favours. Well we figure that people are going to be hungry again by the time we are getting onto the boat to go back to the mainland. Even thought they will have had 4 meals with us. We are making our favours into little “take out” bags. Sort of.
We will be getting some paper bags, I am looking for ones in our wedding colours right now. And putting home made molasses cookies in them (you know the good starbucks style ones), a juice box, and probably a couple other things, we arent sure what yet.
Of course the outside of the bag will be tide with a tag and a cute ribbon.
Any other suggestions?

S’mores! In a clear bag put two crackers, a Hershey’s mini bar, and a marshmallow.

That’s a good idea. We have a FOUR-Day wedding event with boating, fishing, etc. There will be plenty of food access so we decided to do custom koozies to keep drinks cold all weekend long would be good.

I would definately incorporate some campy ideas… are they not getting them ’till they leave or when they arrive? If they get them like OOT bags when they arrive there are lots of things on prior postings… Certainly incorporate campy things, Smore’s for sure, maybe some paper/pencils to jot down favorite camp fire stories or jokes to share at one of your events. Lip balm/bug spray/ etc!

I second the s’mores idea — you could use twine and a cute tag personalize them!

Someone else beat me to it. Smores! You could have some cute umbrellas and hats se up for the water taxi ride. That would make for cute pictures 🙂

I second trail mix! I always eat that when I’m camping. Your wedding sounds like it will be a blast, I would have loved to do something similar!

We attended a cabin wedding where the favors were cute mini flashlights and a little whistle/compass keychain. The couple had their monogram printed on them and it was so cute.

I agree! S’mores are perfect and you can toast them by the fire at the end of the night. We’re doing a country/backyard wedding and I want to do S’mores in the worst way! Do it so I can live vicariously through you! : )

I just bought all the stuff to make our S’mores favors today!
Question though: The little baggies come with twisty ties so how soon to you think I could do them without the marshmallows and crackers getting stale? Wedding is 3 1/2 weeks away.
