i’m not sure how you would split them. i think doing the same for everyone would be easier. animal crackers would be cute!

I think anyone would appreciate the soaps. I know FH finds things like that fun, especially the elephant since he loves to make the awkward elephant (he’s like a child sometimes).

i would greatly prefer the cookies to the soap. i have a closet full of lotions and soaps that i’ve received as gifts….eventually, most end up in the garbage.

i would just do a bag of animal crackers! you can package it so it looks really pretty, and i love animal crackers!

i’m also having a wedding at the zoo, and we’re giving out taffy that they sell in the zoo.

Oh, I hate being a threadjacker but do either of you zoo wedding ladies have an inspiration board or pics you could share?  I like this idea a lot!

Oh, and OP – the soaps are really cute!  Do they sell the animal crackers in the box shaped like a zoo cage in your area?  That woud be cute:

Animal crackers (either iced or not) would be perfect for a zoo theme. Everyone loves them, regardless of age or gender.

I think the soaps would be thoughtful, especially since you mentioned several guests cannot eat cookies.  Could you find more “guy” scented soaps from the same company?

If you still wanted to incorporate the cookie idea, you could do animal shaped cookie cutters.  My sister did magnets with a picture of them and their date.  Most guests did take them, and it’s fun going to family and friends houses and seeing their magnets on the fridge!

And there’s always the donation route if you can’t find a favor idea that you really like.

Actually, not sure if you are really into conservation or you just like the zoo as a theme, but there are a lot of good charities that help animals that are retired from circuses and zoos that have had a less than wonderful life.  Perhaps a donation to them as your favor would be nice?

That’s awesome OP!! I’m a conservation biology major, so I’m right there with you!  Sounds like a great time 🙂

I had a zoo wedding! We did animal crackers and I just put them in clear bags with tags. Some people took them, some didn’t but all my friends thought it was cute. The zoo we had ours at also had mini picture frames shaped like animals but they were like $6 a piece. Here’s a pic of our favors and a pic of a frame that was bought for my son.
