We said it to each other, but not on Facebook or any other social media.

@jpalm13:  I wouldn’t put it on facebook but I would probably celebrate with my SO.

Of couse, I will celebrate anything.  Often it just means me cooking one of our favorite meals and getting a nicer bottle of wine.

My engagement was a year and a half, so I did post on facebook about our “engageiversary” once, while we were still engaged. But after we got married? No.

I think about our dating anni because it’s how long we’ve known each other but I don’t share any of that openly

Our dating anniversery is so amazing and I am so not willing to give it up. We started dating on New years eve. We are not ring engaged yet and I dont remember what day it was when we mutually aggreed to get married but I am almost postive he will be traditionally proposing on new years eve 🙂

Even if I did get engaged in the traditional sense, I’m sure I wouldn’t remember the day it happened. I’m not a “dates” person.

We will always acknowledge our dating anniversary, it was our day for 8 years before we got married,  And it’s a special day to us.

I wouldn’t say anything publicly, but we’ll probably do something fun together to celebrate the day.

We’re planning on having a “negative 1” year wedding anniversary celebration on 8/8/14, though!  Basically just going out to a bar with friends and having a good time.  We both thought it would be a fun idea since we’re having a long engagement!

We were in Venice on our honeymoon on our 1-year engagiversary, so we laughed about it, and brought back a bottle of bubbly with dinner that night.

This year… We may have had a glass of wine and said something about it, but that’s not much different than any other night.

No we never really acknowledged it. We still acknowledge our dating anniversary though.

Nope, definitely not.  Not my style.  My husband and I celebrated our dating anniversary, although now that we’re married it will likely just be a nice dinner at home (and a good excue for champagne!) and an acknowledgment since we have our wedding anniversary now.  I don’t even think we mentioned our engagement “anniversary.”  It just doesn’t seem necessary…kind of like people celebrating “month-aversaries”.

I don’t even remeber what date we got engaged.  So no, we won’t be celebrating it.  I know it was in April, and so will our wedding.  No need to celebrate twice in one month.  I’m sure we will still do our dating one, at least in a small private way, since that is the first day we met.  It’s always fun to say ‘We’ve known eachother for X years”

@jpalm13:  I remember my dating anniversary over the day I got engaged (which is sad–I just know it was  Friday in Sept and would have to look back at the calendar at the specific day).

We only celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our dating one, its just like, “Hey. We’ve been together X amount of years. Wanna use it as an excuse to eat ice cream like pigs?” And because he’s an awesome guy, he’d totally be on board.
