I’m going to post some pics of my new rhr. I’m afraid that my cell phone simply does not do this ring justice, but we’ll give it a go anyway! This ring is a Danhov Voltaggio tension set, it is made with Stuller X1 white gold (meaning that it never needs redipped!), however Danhov did dip it to obtain the high polish finish. I don’t have to redip it later if it wears off unless I choose to. I wanted palladium, but Danhov would not create this design in palladium. It is a Forever Brilliant square brilliant stone, 6.5 x 6.5 equivalent of 1.72 carats. My wedding ring is a 1.12 round diamond, I have included some pics comparing them side by side.
In my opinion, this stone is gorgeous! It has depth, just like my diamond. It is comparable in its’ response to different types of lighting, just like my diamond is. It has some rainbow sparkle, however I really only notice it in store lighting, and it is very subtle. Not much more noticeable than my “I” colored diamond. Maybe because it is a square? But it is not “in your face” rainbows at all. It appears bright and clear and sparkly, just like my diamond!
Without further rambling…
