We’re doing coral, dark pink, and ivory.  Funny because I didn’t want to go the pink route but everything just fits.  My girls will have grey dresses and the flower girl will be wearing coral.

I couldn’t settle on 2 or 3 colors, so I started with purple & green (my favorite colors), then added coral, touches of bright pink, and touches of aqua.  We are getting married on the beach, so I thought they were appropriate colors.  I also LOVE sparkle, so there will be lots of glittery metallics, as well.

What about a dark fushia and silver for some sparkle? I think that would look really pretty in Feburary.

My colours are African Violet, Heather Grey, Silver and White. Our theme is Modern Geometric Prints. Purple is my favourite colour which is why it’s our base colour but it’s also a beautiful winter colour. The particular shade I chose was African Violet by Dessy. It’s vibrant, youthful and fun!! My MOH will be pairing the dress with glittery silver accessories. The rest of the venue will be white and silver, with pops of the African Violet.

Victorian artists did lots of winter scenes with those exact colors, along with ice blue, of course, but you might find some inspiration there.

Here is a Currier and Ives print:

I feel like I don’t really fit in here since I’m in the southern hemisphere and my wedding will be mid summer. But the colours I’m thinking of going with are more spring than summer. I don’t think your colours need to match your season, i think it’s more important that they match your personality.

I did cranberry and plum… both overdone colours for winter but when put together – unique!

Silver with purple & red accents.  Overdone maybe, but they’re mine & FI’s favorite colors.  Even my hair is purple!

@dwiniebell:

I at first knew what our colors were at first, 🙂 *Sighs* which are marine red, black and army green! I like those colors but now I want to change them to Teal, lavender, black and shiny red. 😉
