Yay for more February brides! Ours is also on the 26th - a big wedding in Panama. I thought we were organized, but the last couple of months have flown by and I am realizing how much we have left to do!
Done: Venue, caterer, florist, music, photography, STDs out, invites being designed, guest list done, day-of coordinator, dress bought, rings, officiant (maybe)
Need: Everything else!
Where is everyone else in the process? Am I very far behind?
@bunnylovesbear:, @nani0219: and @blondeeebuckeye: That make 4 of us getting married on the 19th! It seems that it's a popular date on here.
I'm going with a winter theme. Light blue and silver are the colors we are using and our cake is going to have white icing with small light blue snowflakes on it. I'm hoping for a winter topper too. The dress I bought matches the theme perfectly! I just need shoes and the besic decorations before I'm done.
we are also doing a Feb. 19th wedding!!! growing up in the snow in Western New York, it only seems fitting to embrace one of the most beautiful times of the year here... We are using Charcoal and a vibrant blue; I am echoing the pick-up style skirts for all the ladies - I absolutly love the way it looks...
My Dress is from David's Bridal (inspiration board top center), and will have a "Cornflower" colored sash...
I have 3 girls from my 1st marriage and they will be our Junior Bridesmaids; their dresses will mimic mine (inspiration board bottom left)!! <3
The guys will all be wearing a pinstriped tux; my fiance will have the Cornflower tones under his; the groomsmen will have Charcoal under theirs (inspiration board top left).
I have 2 brides maids, a maid of honor, and a matron of honor - all of which have totally different body types!! I decided to go with Alfred Angelo seperates to compliment their 'assets'; they each chose a top and will be wearing the same bottom (inspiration board center left). They will be Charcoal with the vibrant blue as an accent color.
We will be having 4 flower girls and 2 ring bearers!! The ring bearers will mimic the groomsmen; the flowergirls will be similar to the junior bridesmaids, only with a Charcoal sash (inspiration board bottom right).
I also am leaning away from traditional flowers as bouquets, but havent decided!!! (inspiration board center bottom)
And you can get a sneak peak at our location!! It's a beautiful victorian house with a rustic barn for the reception -- gorgeous!!! (inspiration board center)

Wow...5 people getting married on the same day! This is crazy!!! lol
Wow...that IS totally crazy that we all are getting married on the same day! I was up last night getting my invitations ready to be mailed out. SO crazy that it's almost time to send out the invites!!
@bunnylovesbear: i gave my invites the final review yesterday and they are being printed this week! :) we had our first shower last weekend, and my next one is the first weekend in december--i'm going to hand deliver the invites to a few family members that weekend (they are SO impatient), and then send the rest out that next week.
under 100 days at this point--woohoo!
Time sure has flown--February is just around the corner! My fiance and I are taking a weding recon trip this weekend to Bermuda (generously funded by my parents) so we can see our venues again and meet with our wedding planner, priest, etc and get things squared away. I've reprinted my list from last time and updated to show what I've completed for our Feb 26th wedding:
Taken care of:
1.Church (St. Peter's Anglican, built in 1620)
2. Officiant (actually have two--the local rector and our priest from home, assuming he is permitted to officiate in another country)
3. Dress--bought it at Filene's Basement Running of the Brides in July. It's an Angelina Bridal Couture that I got for a fantastic price.
4. Updated passports for us an our families
5. Hotel (lovely historic mansion converted to B&B--the Rosedon)
6. Salon appointments for me and other ladies
7. Rings are ordered!
8. I just had my second dress fitting, and I'll be taking the dress home on Dec. 18th.
Still to do:
1. Cleaning my dress (bought a sample) and determining best way to get it to Bermuda undamaged.
2. Selections for restaurants--wedding planned has options and we are taste-testing them this weekend.
3. Have to give planner my input on what kind of flowers I like and which of the preferred photographers I want to use.
4. Transportation--wedding planner will make reservations--we will finalize how many we need and when on Friday.
5. Legal Documents (notice of Intended Marriage and Visiting Officiant). We will hand these to the planner in person on Friday!
6. Honeymoon. Still haven't decided where to go. My fiance changes his mind every 5 minutes. Or at least it feels like it. :)
7. Arrangements for our at-home reception. This is giving me the most stress. Fiance hasn't gotten around to making his invite list, so I don't know if I need a venue for 100 or 300!
But I know it will all fall into place somehow.
Good luck to everyone!
Woohoo - 100 days for Feb. 26th brides! I love hearing what you all have done so I can gauge my level of slacker-ness.
