I went to a reception there. It was extremely nice. But I'm not sure what sort of feedback you're looking for... you get what you pay for!
I just visited it and it's my #1 right now for my wedding! I have not been to an event there but my parents had and said the food, the ambiance, the staff everything was the best they had seen. I want a space where my guests can enjoy themselves if they aren't into dancing/ drinking and my FI is a history buff. They said everyone would grab drinks and stroll around the museum while still being able to hear the important things and make it back for the "big events" like the bouquet toss etc.
Good luck with the decision!!!
@joy2011: What did you mean by you get what you pay for? Just wondering... it might help me with my decision. Thanks!
I have only heard great things about that venue!! I would have loved to rent the museum but since we are having a small wedding (100 people), it would have just been a ridiculous expenditure!
@WolvLove: Well, I'm sure it was quite expensive, so...of course it's going to be very nice!
It's the best venue in Michigan!!!
Sure, it's on the expensive side, but you do get a lot with the package- where else do you get a 12-acre national historic landmark for the night? Also, it's all super high quality (food, drinks, service, etc).
PM me if you have any questions!

I'm looking to have my reception at the Henry Ford Museum but I'm not sure. I've met with them and looked at the venue but I'd really like to have some feedback from someone who has used the venue before. My reception will be about 250-300 people.
