Lovely! Did you really DIY? They look professionally printed!

I tihnk they look really nice, but the blue is a bit hard to read.  It could be the scanning and how the computer is showing them, but that’s just my impression.

Hmm… I can see what abbie017 means – that color could be a little hard to read. But in answer to your question: No, I don’t think it’s too simple.

i really love them! I think that a simple invitation with a nice style goes a long way. i think some more trendy invites get WAY too focused on being overly themey and lose their class. this is both gorgeous and classy. two thumbs up!

I think they look great, but it looks like it says “aftermoon” instead of afternoon.

The design is awesome. But the wording/font color is very hard to read.

How are you planning to print them?  I don’t think that light blue color will show up unless you get them professionally printed: offset, thermography, letterpress, engraving.

Also, I would remove the word “ON”.  “AT” should be on the same line as four o’clock in the afternoon.  You should also remove “IN” from In Norwalk, CT.

@MissCT:  Have you had them printed yet?  I would love to know what method you ended up using, and if you used kraft cardstock.  I am using kraft for part of my suite and all the printers i talked to only want to do it digitally or offset/litho and in dark colors (which I guess I am going to end up doing navy).

TIA!
