- Wedding: August 2012
Isn’t it just the most wonderful thing when all of your dreams for you big day are shot down? I’m apologize ahead of time for any ranting I may do, I’m just a little upset and tend to feel better when I write. I’m probably being a bit dramatic as well. Trust me, I am far from the dramatic type. I have just always envisioned my wedding day being perfect and it will be. We just most likely won’t have as much money as we had planned.
Anyway, I have been engaged for nearly two years. Since we’re students, we planned a long engagement. We wanted to be smart and graduate from college before we get married. The only problem is the fact that I cannot, for the life of me, get accepted into nursing school. This is my third acceptance period trying and getting rejected. I have tried several other programs as well, but to no avail. Another thing I have always wanted to do is dental hygiene, but the great state of Alabama has rediculous requirements. So for the time being, I am going to settle for a short term dental assisting program and most likely make minumum wage. But I will save every penny, that’s one thing I’ve always been good at. I can save some money! We will probably get married sometime next August, since he’ll graduate next Summer. Oh, how I wanted that White by Vera Wang dress. *sigh*
Anyone have any advice for strict budgeted wedding?
