@CocoClassic:  I think you should try on the Mori Lee 5108! That is my dress and as soon as I pulled up your post and saw your pictures I immediately thought how similar our dresses were!  I wanted exactly what you wanted in a wedding dress something fun that made me feel sexy, and the Mori lee did exactly that.  It is alittle poofier at the bottom than yours but it really does give you a great hour glass shape!  I am not sure how much your original dress was but the Mori lee is also super affordable.  Mine was like $680 I think.

Good Luck with the dress search number 2!  I am sure you will find a dress you love again!

I was going to suggest Mori Lee 5108! It’s really a lovely dress. I’m surprised it says it’s made of “net” (whatever that is). I would have thought it was chiffon. It’s so pretty and comfortable – and inexpensive. I tried it on at my consultant’s insistance – there was no way I wanted mermaid – and that dress ALMOST changed my mind. It’s not stiff at all – it’s really light and airy – very fluffy! The model picture (of course) does not do the dress justice – it has so much more movement that the model picture shows.

There’s also a Wtoo dress you may like, although I didn’t try it on so I can’t speak for the comfort – the Cyprus.

Oh, or the Emerson! The Emerson is SOOOOO pretty! I didn’t try it on, and it’s beaded, which you might not like, but the beading reminds me of the criss cross pattern of the dress you liked.

I loooove the 5108. Like, so much so that I really considered trying to return my dress and buying that one instead (I didn’t). Pleaseeeeeeeeee try it on!

@CocoClassic I LITERALLY had the same thing happen to me!! It was really upsetting, I know what you’re going through! I went shopping again and picked out a new dress. I did like the dress alot, but didn’t have that same excitement of the first one. Buutttt over the following months I really fell in love with the new dress and was so so so happy that it’s the one I wore for my wedding. I look back on losing the first dress as a blessing, the new one was so much prettier and better suited to me, even though when I picked it out I was still mourning the first dress. It will work out and you’ll find an amazing new dress! Give yourself some time to warm up to it though, you prob won’t feel super happy while you’re shopping, but you will on your wedding day : )

Aww man talk about bad timing lol! I couldn’t delete my pics of the original dress either. You have such a nice figure, you won’t have any trouble finding something that looks equally amazing! I know it’s super frustrating though…once something’s “crossed off” your list, it’s so annoying to have to do a re-do! I went back to the store with the mindset of “I’m finding a new dress today, even if it kills me” haha. Try to make a fun day of it, go out for mimosas or something w/ the girls before you conquer the new dress search : ) & keep us bees updated!

The Mori Lee 5108 is my dress too and what I was going to suggest as soon as I saw your picture. This is another one I considered but I liked the more defined mermaid:

It’s Sottero & Midgley Clarice.
