@lazy:  i signed up with gigmasters to get some quotes, I get a phone call once a week from each vendor! I have even tried closing my event and emailing to let them know I am no longer looking for a DJ. Don’t feel bad, he might really want your business but you have to do what you want on your schedule/budget.

Awww.. I would just be honest with him.. but keep in mind that even if his price IS a bit higher… he has taken the time to follow up with you.

That’s worth money right there

personally, I think it says a lot about him that hes keeping in touch with you and is responding quickly. I found i was happiest with vendors that did that over say the cheapestoption. Our photographer was one of the higher priced for our low budget and I love her timeness, her geninue interest in our wedding that we ended up wanting her over the other people.

Had the same issue with a a photogapher. Finally I just told them we went with someone else just to get them to leave us alone. There is a difference between being responsive and borderline stalking.

@lazy:  I think you have let him know that you will get back with him when you can. I don’t think his feelings will be hurt by a delay in your response. You’re the potential customer, you responded to his phone call, you don’t owe him a constant reminder. Get back with him when you’re ready.

@lazy:  Maybe just ignore his messages and respond when you’re ready.:-)
