I’m not really into wedding planning anymore. I haven’t been feeling well and I am concerned about health issues. I made an appointment with my doctor, but unfortunately she can’t see me until the end of March. I have this irrational fear that we will commence planning and I will then geta serious diagnosis and we will have to cancel everything. I know, sounds completely irrational. However, I really haven’t been feeling well ( I’ll spare everyone the details).
Has anybody else experienced a similar situation? Right now I feel so emotional, so I am having trouble focusing on the logical like, don’t worry about it until I see the doctor.
Thanks for listening (reading) bees.

I think its unacceptable that the doctor can’t see you until the end of March- you should call back and stress that you need to come in- or ask for a referral to another doctor in the practice? Thats a long time to wait to feel better. But that rant aside- I can understand why not feeling well would take the wind out of your sails for wedding planning. But I also think you shouldn’t put everything on hold by planning for the worst. Just do the parts that interest you- for a while I only could handle thinking about music and nothing else. Good luck!

I agree with eeniebeans, you really should try to see someone sooner if you are that concerned. Hope everything works out!

I agree that you need to see someone sooner. While it’s probably not something too serious (well, life threatening), when it comes to your health its better to be safe than sorry. I’d be a bit more assertive when I called back. I can imagine why you’re not focused on wedding planning. Your health is far more important and it can be a major distraction if you’re not feeling well. The good thing is that you have time to focus on getting better before you have to do lots of wedding stuff.
