So I’m constantly paranoid that I am or could get pregnant anytime. Because I don’t use any formal birth control (just pull-out method, not the best I know!). Because condoms cause me serious UTIs, and according to my fiance, birth control pills cause me to be a serious b*tch. But I’m nearly 30, and if it happens, it happens.
Anyway, some day (I forgot when exactly) during the week I ovulate (last week), we had sex twice in a row (which is not good to do if you use the pull-out method).
Last night, and today, I’ve felt this strange faint nauseous feeling. Not like I had food poisoning or something, but like more similar to if your blood sugar was low.
But my slight nausea (still on going right now at 9pm) started around 2:30pm today and hasn’t stopped since then.
I read though that morning sickness doesn’t usually start til a month or after into the pregnancy.
Is it possible I could be pregnant?
Has anyone experienced nausea as an early pregnancy symptom?
Of course I’ll take a pregnancy test if I miss my period.

I can tell you already what everyone will say. Of course it’s possible! Some people experience all kinds of wacky things in early pregnancy, some experience nothing. There is really nothing anyone can say on here to ease your mind, all you can do is wait to take the test. Sorry :/

@raziel1687: Take a pregnancy test, then you will know for sure. If you are that concerned about getting pregnant, I am sure there is a form of birth control that you two could use.

I more just wanna know if it’s happened to somebody else where they got nauseas days after conception.
I’m not extremely concerned about getting pregnant… The only other option would be like what? IUD? And I’m allergic to some materials they make that stuff out of. But I’m nearly 30, I’d rather have a kid before 30 anyway.

@raziel1687: take a test, that’s the only way to know for sure! early pregnancy is different for everyone. it really depends how your body handles the hormones. so IF you were, you could be feeling it.
i knew at 7dpo i was pregnant because i was sick
but really, there is only a 25% chance of getting pregnant every cycle, for a healthy couple, if you have sex in your fertile window.

@raziel1687: You could at very least use spermicide as an extra precaution with the pull out method. There are other hormonal birth controls that mau not effect you the same as the pill such as the patch or nuva ring. And unless you’ve had a kid (which it sounds like you haven’t) I wouldn’t recommend an IUD they tend to be painful and can occasionally cause some fertility issues, but something like implanon that goes in the arm could work if it not something you’re allergic to.

When is your period due? If it doesn’t come, you can take a test. Or if you want to test early for piece of mind, try a First Response Early Result (FRER) test!

@raziel1687: I only thought to take a pregnancy test bc I had mild nausea while riding in a car for a few minutes. Tested pos the next day. Am currently 25 is and never experienced nausea again…
