Congrats! Also, 1.3 pounds a week is totally doable — the holidays are coming, which can trip anyone up, but I’d put money on you hitting your goal if you’re consistant. 🙂

Go girl! I’m getting married the weekend after you and am doing the same thing–getting serious about all this. I’m working with a personal trainer and did a crazy overhaul of my diet as well.

And I’m down 7! 🙂

 

Balboa mentioned the holidays. FI and I just discussed this and decided that we will allow ourselves to indulge ON the holidays, but not bring any leftovers home for any reason. Maybe that would work for you too if you’re worried. 🙂

It’s really hard to say no on the holidays. There’s always an “occasion,” an excuse to indulge. Stay strong! Someone might say something discouraging, but you can do this!

That said, I definitely agree ItsAshleyDay…give yourself the actual holiday day to celebrate. Holidays are meant to be celebrated after all, but do keep it just to that one day. It won’t be easy, but you limit how much ‘bad’ food you eat AND you still get to indulge a little so you don’t go crazy later on because you’re feeling deprived.
