Yes, I know the wedding is a year away. But with 6 kids between us, 2 houses that need to be sold, kid activities/sports, school stuff I am trying to tackle a little at a time. I am STILL on a dress hunt. My mother purchased a NWT Mori Lee on ebay (that i would either pay her for or re-list). It’s a lovely dress, I like how it feels on and i guess it’s flattering. I would have to have teh train taken off completely in alterations (because I wanted a sweep train at MOST) But I don’t really think it’s what i wanted. I’m starting to think strapless looks terrible on me (from the back, the front is usually ok) and I feel like i need to start all over. I thought I had found a dress i loved (MS Kyra) but my mother convinced me it’s too fancy for the beach/too expensive (although she’s not paying for it) blah blah blah. When i try on dresses I feel….like none of them look like ME. I’m short, 5′, and weigh about 110 so i feel like all these dresses are overwhelming me. That’s the dress issue in a nutshell….
We have rented a beautiful home at the beach for our ceremony/reception. We are having a small wedding (50 ppl), mostly family. The house is big enough to hold both our families and his is coming from NJ/NY. Basically, we all arrive Friday, the wedding is Saturday, and we have the house til the following thursday. So we are having a wedding/mini family vacation with those who can stay. So on top of plannign things for the ceremony, I need to plan things for a vacation as well.
Here are the pics of the Mori Lee she ordered…For some reason the shot of me from the front looks stretched. i’m not that skinny
