So it's that time of year again where I don't wear socks and my feet sadly don't smell like roses. My flats just start to stink like boy feet ewww gross Tongue out I've tried baby powder to absorb the moisture and it doesn't work. Does anyone else have this problem or am I the only stinky footed bee? HELP. Please share your wisdom...what should I use?

This is a good excuse for new shoes!

I have this problem too, nothing ever helps with my shoes except buying new.  I second BostonHelen's comment!

Regular antiperspirant/deodorant. Just make sure you have a separate one for your armpits and your feet. Otherwise that would just be gross Undecided

Sadly I don't have the money to keep buying new shoes.

@Goldilocks LMAO I'll try it and be sure to put a big X on the one for the feet! Too funny.

This is happening to me now and my shoes are new. The only thing that is working better than nothing at all is Dr. Scholl's foot powder similar to Odor Eaters. If they have the spray, get that.

Ohh Roddy I'll try that first, I like the smell of deodorant but think it would feel weird walking around with it on my feel sliding in my shoes!

I was shoe shopping with my mom recently and this woman overheard me talking about my stinky feet & started laughing. Then she told me about this tried and true method to getting rid of smelly shoes. Apparently if you stick dryer sheets in your shoes they absorb the stink?? Havent tried it yet but it sounded good. A lot easier than shelling out more dough for shoes that'l just end up stinky. lol.

Oh @MissCamera- I have tons of boxes of dryer sheets just laying around our laundry area I'll try that tonight in addition to some Dr.Scholl's foot spray!

OMW! I have the same problem and always thought I was the only stinky footed girl out there!

I wear nylons all summer because of it, and hate hate hate wearing them!

dryer sheets you say? hehe, that would make me feel silly if we go to someone's house and I have to take them off though. We shall see....

    hahahaha!

I love how honest we can be when we're semi-anonymous :)

My old favorite pair of black heels would stink like no other after I would wear them at work all day. I used to come home and run to the bathroom and wash my feet in the sink. Gross, I know! One day my husband caught me scrubbin my feet after work and I've never lived it down....

He made me throw away my stinky heels :(

I bought foot spray and sprayed my feel & my shoes. I also put dryer sheets in my shoes when I'm not wearing them...they smell LIKE NEW! So it worked out, I get to keep my shoes and lost the smell! Tongue out

I just saw the advice today on the dryer sheets. I will definitely be trying that for sure.

Dryer sheets work. I use old stockings or you know those foot pads they make you use when you try on shoes? I take those home, fill em with a little baking soda & that works too.

I'm a huge fan of Odor Eaters or any other kind of padding that goes inside your shoes - not only get rid of the stink but my feet tend to slip in ballet flats in the summer (gross I know) and the padding is a good barrier between your foot & the shoe without having to wear grandma peds. ;)
