I actually had the same thing happen recently! I used to wear a size 5.5, sometimes a size 5 wide...but I also lost a few pounds and 5.5 is too big now!
I love those red shoes, by the way -- where did you get them from?
Could you try putting some Dr. Schol's insoles in them? I find that makes my shoes a little more snug when they're too big.
Either way, the second pair is super cute, too.
It's happened to me too! I wore a size 10 shoe for years, and then found out that I was actually a 9W - 9 1/2. So most of my shoes are 9 1/2's now!
My feet went from an 8/8 1/2 to a 7 1/2 when I lost 30ish pounds. Unfortunately the weight is back and so are my big feet.
Both shoes are really cute though, you can't go wrong either way!
I know the topic is your shoes right now but I LOVE your veil.
And the first shoes are so cute with the hearts. (My ring is a heart, as is my cake and I was hoping for shoes with a similar sole)
Can you switch heel height like that? If your alterations have already been done, your hem length will be too short with those seriously, painfully high heels!
@opheliax-originally I got them at 6pm.com, you can google them and maybe you can find them cheaper, but 6pm.com is pretty cheap. They're romantic soles brand-columbus style.
I originally wanted the Caparros Flashy, but then a bm fell in lust with them, so I let the girls have those, and I HAD to outdo my bm's shoes lol, the romantic soles shoes were my answer.
@buttontoes-i didn't even think of that!!! You may've saved my shoes! :D thank you! Lol
@violachap-i went from a 10 (esp if dress shoes-they allllways fit tighter) to a 9.
@ly1243- I was anti-veil at first, mainly bc its hard for me to get the 'whole picture' (me walking down the aisle all prettied up!) but I decided it was best to get it rather than regret it later.
This one I bought at a local dress shop in TN-country bumpkin, however I found this pic at a site online who also sells the veil. I googled crystal beaded veil, and found it there under beaded edge veils.
@ crayfish- I haven't had my alterations done yet, my appointment is next wk, but you do make a good point.
Guess I need to get those inserts asap! :)

With the wedding being 4 weeks away... (gasp) I've started to obsess... and then re-obsess. I've found out that this is probably a good thing though...
The checklist is still going. Have to make sure everything is crossed out before the big day...

Dress-done,
alterations set for next week,
And guesstimating $100, however the lady who is altering my dress said that it shouldn’t even be $50.
Veil is purchased,
and is very beautiful….if I do say so myselfJ. Seen here…
I’m now even second guessing and re-obsessing over wedding jewelry.
And with etsy.com as an addiction…Lets just say being that I work 12 hour nights at a hospital, I’m on etsy.com during my down time… probably 3-4 hours a night. I made a flower/lace/feathery hair piece for myself that I’d seen on etsy.
My shoes have been the most recent issue… Originally I bought them about 1 year before our scheduled wedding date. I know now that I should've waited…
And I especially loved the bottom... how cute is that?
But then I lost some weight and low and behold… They don’t fit… So now, I have these little babies…
I love these, I have them in a zebra-ish print though.
I do wish the romantic soles red pair would fit now. But people probably won't even see my feet. I may end up going bare-foot anyway. I guess if my feet keep shrinking, I can always just do the cowboy boot thing -they're on standby...
Has anyone else had any feet shrinkage issues?
