I was debating between buying that Clear Blue ovulation predictor or the Ova Cue. We went with the Ova Cue, although we never even needed to use it. Have you been tracking your basal temperature? Also, do you monitor your cervical fluid - I think monitoring the fluid is really the most accurate way. If you get the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler, it has very vivid pictures of what the fluid looks like in the 2 -3 days building up to ovulation and then what it looks like on the most prime day for you to do it. We were going to start using the Ova Cue next month, but this month just went on primarily what the cervical fluid looked like... and it worked!

I am on cycle 3 coming off the pill and I've been using the Clear Blue ovulation digital tester - the one with the smily faces. So far, it has given me a smily face to show I am having my LH surge right on time - 12 days after each period. Which supposedly means I will ovulate 2 days later. This is all I need to know right? So what is the deal with the way more expensive fertility tester that everyone is talking about? What is the difference and is it really necessary? We are goint to TTC starting this month so I want to be as accurate as possible. Appreciate the input!
