History: pcos, blocked left tube and slight male factor

Cycle 9 was supposed to be iui with clomid 50 mg but I hyperstimmed with like 7 eggs and it was canceled.

Cycle 10 was supposed to be natural with iui but at cd 20 ish nothing Was brewing so he put me on femera to jump start my cycle.  I think it was 1 2mg pill for 5 days. I got a false positive opk and went in and did the iui. When they did it they checked and said they didn’t think I was ready. I went back 3 days later when i was almost ready and they did another iui with a trigger. Bfn

cycle 11 I went in day 3 and told him that we were going across the country on cd16 and would we have to wait another cycle. He said he was willing to try to get me ovulating before  and put me on the same dose of femera and told me to come in cd14 ( the Friday before we left) for a folicle  check and a trigger shot if necessary. I went in got a trigger shot and scheduled the iui for the next day. Did the iui went on vacation and when I came back bfp!

i am now 11 weeks and 4 days! It still doesn’t feel real.

DH’s SA was fine after the second SA and I was told that my AMH levels were low for my age (31) but not in the “low” category.  I started firt IUI in July of this year with follistim and ovidrel to trigger ovulation.  It failed.  Second IUI I had the same protocol, but it also failed.  In August as we started our third cycle of IUI and 13 cycle of TTC our RE told us that if two IUIs didn’t work then our chances for the third was very low.  Only 25% chance, so we discussed IVF and was ready for it as soon as cycle 13 was over.  Cycle 14 never came.  I am now pregnant 6wks and still going.  Its never easy.  I lost all hope once we talked IVF, but it happened.

I have pcos and it took about 4 years trying various things. Clomid did not work for me. We did not want to pursue IVF. We tried Femara and that combo with Metformin, while also treating my thyroid – worked. It took 4 cycles of that specific combo.

We now have a beautiful almost 2 month old daughter.

No known issues. Cycle 11 took Clomid 50 mg CD 5-9, BFN. Cycle 12 took Clomid 50 mg CD 3-7, BFP. If we hadn’t gotten pregnant that cycle, the next cycle we were going to trigger with Orvidrel and up Clomid to 100 mg, and just do TI.

I am crossing my fingers for you love!
