Do you have one that you would recommend?
I bought one used from a resale store for $8. I figured, if it didn’t work, I only spent $8 instead of the $30 I would spend on a new one. Anyway, it doesn’t work. & I’ve read lots of reviews that basically said the thing is a piece of crap. BRU now sells this exact doppler for like 9 bucks. Anyway…
I’m 24w2d & my DH has never heard the heartbeat because he is deployed. I would really like to find a good doppler that I can record the heartbeat on and send to him. I also want him to be able to hear the baby’s heartbeat when he’s home for R&R.

Can your doctor give you a copy of it? I have my sons on a cd from 18 years ago, so I would give them a call and ask.

I got a few and none ever worked very good but my doctor gave me a video of the ultra sound and another of the heartbeat I agree with PP doctor is the best bet!

I looked in to getting one, i guess it depends on how much you want to spend, there are a few with good reviews on amazon, that are around $100. I decided not to get one, we need so many things for baby that i just didnt want to spend the extra $.

Maybe you can call your own voicemail and leave the heartbeat on it, at your next appt? I did that.

i don’t think my hospital has the ability to do it. i have a 4D ultrasound coming up and part of the package includes a video set to music, so im going to ask if they can record the heartbeat instead.
I definitely don’t want to spend a ton of money on one. But it would nice to have when DH is home. I found some one ebay, but i’m a little hesitant of ordering without any reviews. I also read a blog post about the AngelSounds doppler and the author loved it. I just hate to spend the money based on one review.

I have no idea on dopplers, but I wanted to say that I hope you are able to record this for your husband.

Most smartphones have the ability to “record” voice notes and such. Any way you could make something like that and email it to him? I know that if I set my phone to record the dopper is loud enough that I could get a simple recording.
